Rarebit98 is my nick and I am from Sydney Australia, there is not many of us in the room from Australia, so when it is morning for me it is normally night time for the rest of them. I have been with wavplayers since June 1999, did my training and became an OP then in 2003 became a SOP.
For those of you who don’t know anything about me, tough, for those of you that do well I don’t need to fill you in do I J. I don’t like hugs you will find there is normally only person I hug in the room, and that is Trumana who has been a dear friend since I first started on the internet in April 1998 and I treasure Tru and his wife’s friendship and always will.
This last 10 months I have fought cancer, and fingers crossed all reports at the moment show that I have beaten it, my friends in wavplayers have helped me more than they know with there words of encouragement during this time, and I am using this opportunity to send a very special thank you to Oscar, she knows why.
For those of you that come into wavplayers for the first time and wonder what in the hell you have walked into, sit back and watch, learn, ask, and become part of a wonderful group of people who can laugh with you at you and themselves. But be warned we have the greatest pairs of boots on the Internet for kicking butts if and when we have to, but we always do it with a smile on our faces. **Sadly on 13th January 2006 Rarebit lost her battle with cancer. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Sleep well Rare. ** |
